This was built for a friend of mine trying to match the style and color of a Danish platform bedroom set he had just set up.  The style  was not an issue, but the coloring took 10-12 try-and-adjust rounds and four final coats of finish to match perfectly.   The two-tier design makes it very easy to attach to a wall and “float” off the floor.
